Primary Objective:
To provide administrative support for the
Debt Recovery Department Essential Duties and Responsibility:
Establishes effective working relationships with field management, NSC support personnel, and other CFS team members. Establishes relationships with Customers, Attorneys, Collection Agencies, and Credit and Collection personnel outside of the organization Placement of accounts with third-party agencies, or attorneys' Initiate payment to Third Party Agencies and Attorney bills weekly Respond to Service Now requests Answer the phone for the department Compile the results of established KPIs and report findings to the manager Maintain the information and accuracy of the department's data Assist in the reporting of the company's bad debt Assist in accrual notification to the field Scan or upload documents into the file system Compile reports and distribute them to the field Research missing company information for elevated payment checks Research Bad Debt Recovery Research Bankruptcy Notices Research receipt of legal documents and distribute them when required Attend review meetings Special projects ad-hoc, research analyst Other similar duties as assigned Knowledge & Competencies (Skills & Abilities): High school diploma or equivalent, and 5 years of experience in Commercial Credit and Collections, ensuring adequate knowledge of effective collection practices, collection laws, construction liens, and bonds. Must be a notary or can become a notary. Must possess good communication skills, knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Legal Tracker, CLEAR, and, be an effective negotiator.
