Dallas Nephrology Associates (DNA) is a large independent single specialty practice with numerous offices located throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. DNA has a long-standing reputation of providing quality care to patients in the North Texas area since 1971. DNA has an immediate opening for a Credit Posting/Refund Specialist to join our billing department. This individual will monitor credits and issue refunds to the appropriate parties in a timely manner. They will perform responsibilities at a satisfactory level of productivity with minimal supervision. This team member's day to day will include managing credit balances and refund requests while requesting funds productively and accurately and clearly documenting the actions they have taken. As well, this individual will research recoupments for accuracy and verify if prior refund requests have been received. On occasion, they will also assist with payment posting. This position is local-remote. Qualified candidates will live in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Training is onsite for 1-3 weeks, with a remote option once training is completed. This is a

position with an assignment lasting 6 months

• 1 year.

Qualifications include:

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required 2+ years of Medical Revenue Cycle experience in Healthcare required Prior experience with insurance refunds and medical billing required Familiarity with CPT and PLB codes and the ability to interpret remits from insurance payers Ability to work independently and meet production metrics as well as manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and excellent judgment skills Familiarity with Availity, Clearinghouses and payer websites Proficient with Microsoft products, Google Suite, Adobe, Excel, etc EHR/EMR experience We kindly ask recruitment agencies not to contact us, as all hiring is managed internally.
