In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding accounts and ensuring compliance with legal and financial standards. Your proactive approach will help optimize revenue recovery while maintaining positive relationships with consumers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in collections, account reconciliation, and negotiation within a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Contact clients via phone using professional phone etiquette to discuss overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements. Utilize financial software and accounting software to track payments, update account statuses, and generate detailed reports. Manage accounts payable processes related to collections activities, ensuring timely resolution of debts while adhering to legal guidelines. Maintain comprehensive records of all collection activities, including documentation of negotiations, payment plans, and legal actions when necessary. Collaborate with internal teams to improve collection efficiency and reduce outstanding balances. Experience Proven experience in collections or accounts receivable management within a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, revenue cycle management, and account analysis. Excellent phone etiquette combined with customer service skills to handle sensitive conversations professionally. Knowledge of negotiation techniques to effectively resolve overdue accounts while maintaining positive relationships. Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills necessary for account analysis and handling complex billing scenarios.
