Humble, TX 77338 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collection Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing outstanding accounts and ensuring timely collections while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires strong communication skills Responsibilities Manage and follow up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence. Negotiate payment arrangements with clients while maintaining a professional demeanor. Document all interactions and maintain accurate records of account statuses in the financial software. Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate billing. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts. Qualifications 6 months to 1 year minimum prior experience in simliar role Familiarity with accounts payable is highly desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Experience with Prelude ERP software is a huge plus, but not required Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations related to payments and account balances. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
