We pride ourselves on providing quality collection services to our clients with a customer-focused approach. The primary responsibility of our Collection Specialists is to contact customers on assigned accounts to collect past due balances, answer questions related to all aspects of collection activity and provide solutions to satisfy customer and client needs. This role requires the ability to work with a variety of internal and external business partners and effectively manage inbound and outbound communications. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional demeanor will be key to your success in this position. Our Collection Specialists participate in a generous monthly bonus incentive plan, weekly and/or monthly contests for prizes, luncheons, and more! Duties Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to handle account-related concerns and recommend optimal solutions. Answer consumer questions regarding past due balances. Identify barriers and propose resolutions. Provide excellent customer service to promote client/customer relationship. Collect and process credit card payments, set up payment plans and follow up on accounts. Properly document all activity in the collections system. Assist other contact representatives and coworkers, as needed. Skills Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable. Previous experience in collections or call center environments is preferred. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail. Ability to handle high call volume while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Familiarity with computerized systems for managing customer interactions is essential. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
