This vital role involves managing billing processes, ensuring accurate data entry using QuickBooks, and providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hospice environment, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and possess a strong foundation in clerical and administrative tasks. Duties Prepare, review, and process invoices accurately using accounting software such as QuickBooks Manage incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections Maintain organized filing systems for billing records, receipts, and related documents Assist with front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems Provide exceptional customer service by addressing billing inquiries with professionalism and clarity Support office management tasks such as calendar management, data entry, proofreading, and document organization Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and uphold high standards of phone etiquette and customer support Requirements Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles within an office environment Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is Required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse client needs Demonstrated attention to detail in proofreading and data entry tasks Knowledge of office management procedures, filing systems, and phone etiquette Prior experience as a medical or dental receptionist or personal assistant is advantageous Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude Join our team as a Billing Clerk and be part of a vibrant workplace where your skills make a real difference!
