Medical Billing Specialist

Billing Specialist - Multidisciplinary Chiropractic Office We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing multidisciplinary chiropractic practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing all aspects of medical billing and insurance coordination within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience Preferred experience in a multidisciplinary Chiropractic/ Medical Office Strong knowledge of: In-network and out-of-network insurance benefits Insurance verifications Credentialing providers Prior authorizations Payment Posting Claims submission and follow-up Appeals and denials management Familiarity with chiropractic, physical medicine, rehabilitation, or integrated healthcare billing is highly preferred Excellent communication and patient service skills Ability to multitask and work independently

Responsibilities:

Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility Obtain and track prior authorizations Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing Submit insurance claims accurately and timely Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals Post payments and reconcile accounts Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing questions Maintain compliance with billing regulations and office protocols

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with EHR/EMR and billing software Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance guidelines Team-oriented with a positive attitude We are looking for someone dependable, professional, and motivated to grow with our team.

Pay:

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
