The Billing Team Supervisor will:

Manage the work flow between the billing, eligibility and collections specialists. Communicate to Revenue Cycle Manager regularly about billing and claims denials, rejections, delayed payments, and other billing-related issue that could impact agency financials. Provide detailed reports to Revenue Cycle Manager on collections, Discounted Fee Applicants, and those assisted through the Community Assistor role. Lead and support billing team in resolving denials, overpayments, timely filings, invalid denials, eligibility and duplicate claims and resubmitting corrected claims. Provide supervision of the AHCCCS verification & eligibility, community assisting and Discounted Fee review processes. This is a full-time position and works during regular business hours (typically, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, or similar hours). This role has the opportunity to work remotely from home, but does require Arizona residence. Travel to SAGE offices in Maricopa county may be expected a few times a month. Why join SAGE Counseling? Qualifications:

Associates degree in business or related field or 3-5+ years of related experience in revenue cycle operations Experience with Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS), Managed Care Plans, and commercial payers required. Working knowledge of clearinghouse and payer portals. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of healthcare billing processes required and advanced critical thinking to see the larger picture through the details.
