Medical Billing/Claims/Collections

Our client, in the medical industry, is in need for two Medical Billing/Collections Specialist to join their team on a long-term contract! This is in central/east side of Tucson, with training in the northern side of Tucson. The role will be for at least 6 months, and could go temp-to-hire for the right fit!

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing medical billing and claims efficiently and accurately.
• Handling patient collections, explaining the billing process to patients when necessary.
• Collaborating with commercial insurance, Medicare, and AHCCS for billing purposes.
• Managing a high volume of work and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems, such as

EHR SYSTEM

for various tasks.

• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and executing appeals and authorizations as necessary.
• Overseeing benefit and billing functions.
• Ensuring proper follow-up on patient collections.
• Utilizing skills in Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), and

EHR SYSTEM

to efficiently execute tasks.
