Job Description:
Adams & Martin Group is working with a reputable law firm to hire an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to support its finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the full billing cycle, including generating, reviewing, and distributing client invoices. Maintain accurate billing records and ensure timely processing. Address client billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Partner with attorneys and staff to ensure compliance with billing policies and best practices. Analyze billing data to identify trends and improve processes. Support the implementation and maintenance of billing systems. Safeguard confidential financial and client information. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of legal billing experience within a law firm environment. Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong understanding of accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage priorities independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills and discretion with sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a large law firm environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Familiarity with systems such as Elite, Aderant, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting. Experience with e-billing platforms and processes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
