Job Description:
Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a respected law firm in Newport Beach seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist with legal billing experience. This role supports the billing team with invoicing, cash posting, and client account management in a fast-paced professional environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparation and distribution of monthly billing proformas Process time entry edits and generate client invoices Perform daily cash posting, including coding and reconciliation Communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients to resolve billing issues Maintain familiarity with client billing guidelines and special arrangements Research and apply unapplied cash or process refunds Support new matter billing setup and maintain organized records Pull documentation and provide backup for client billing inquiries Qualifications 2-5 years of legal billing experience (e-billing preferred) Experience with enterprise level billing systems such as Elite 3E, Elite Enterprise, or Aderant Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Flexibility to work overtime as needed All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
