At PS Vocational Consulting, Inc., we are a vocational consulting agency specializing in helping injured workers utilize their Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (SJDB) vouchers. Our mission is to guide clients through retraining opportunities and support their return to the workforce. We take pride in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing & Client Support Specialist responsible for managing billing and payment tracking while supporting our vocational counselors with client coordination. This is a dynamic role that combines financial responsibilities with client interaction and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and issue invoices for services rendered Track and record incoming payments and maintain accurate financial records Follow up on outstanding balances with insurance companies, schools, and clients Support counselors with client coordination, including: Referring clients to approved schools and training programs Following up on client progress (enrollment, attendance, graduation status) Communicating with schools regarding student status and documentation Maintain organized client files and documentation for audits and compliance Respond to billing and general inquiries in a professional and timely manner Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth processing of vouchers and payments
Qualifications:
Experience in billing, accounts receivable, or administrative support preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
