IPS manufactures its products locally and has been delivering world-class solutions to the telecommunications and parking industries for over 25 years. The company is best known for their patented credit card enabled, solar powered, single-space parking meter and Meter/Asset Management System. IPS offers a full line of parking solutions with end-to-end integration including meters, mobile, web and m2m interfaces. All aspects of the IoT technical space are drawn upon.
Job Summary:
As an AP Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our Accounting Department's day-to-day operations. We're looking for individuals who are ready to step in and take ownership of this role and make a real impact.
Job Responsibilities:
Processing of vendor invoices, including verification of charges and internal management approvals per company policy. Prepare weekly check run and ACH/ Wire requests. Record accounts payable transactions to appropriate GL accounts in NetSuite. Monitor and reconcile assigned company credit card activity. Import approved credit card activity to Netsuite ERP. Monitor recurring accounts payable activity for missed invoices/payments. Maintain AP files and records, to include invoice copies, tracking approved payment methods for each vendor and obtaining appropriate tax and insurance information from new payees. Assist with month end accounts payable reconciliations, including credit card and PO reconciliations. Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and tax requirements (i.e. 1099 reporting) Maintain accounts payable reports, including aging reports. Prepare cash forecasts Provide required documentation in support of annual audits.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 5+ years prior Accounts Payable experience Good communication skills Knowledge of Netsuite ERP is a plus Knowledge of Bill.com or similar payment tools is a plus Physical Demands, Equipment and Machinery The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
