In this role, you will be responsible for accurately posting payments received from various sources to patient accounts, ensuring the integrity of financial records and supporting the overall revenue cycle process. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, comprehensive knowledge of medical billing procedures, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial documentation and facilitating efficient reimbursement processes. Responsibilities Perform billing and collections for commercial, government, and managed care payors. Identify and report payor issues to leadership. Interpret and apply complex payor contract language to reimbursement calculations. Pursue outstanding payments and resolve account balances. Conduct account collection activities using internet resources and professional communication. Compose professional written correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.

MUST HAVE

Experience with the Brightree System for entering and reconciling payments from insurance companies or patients within this system Hands-on experience using Brightree for payment posting Should have experience with Commercial insurance companies (like Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare). Don't consider applicants with government payors experience like Medicare or Medicaid Minimum 3 years of homecare billing experience (5 years preferred) and Brightree expertise.

Shift Timing :

8AM-4:30PM Weekly schedule: M-F CH1
