Role Overview We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team within the Customer Service department. This role focuses on ensuring smooth and accurate billing while providing professional, client-friendly support to doctors and their staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone manners, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude to build rapport with our valued clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare and send invoices accurately and on schedule. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients on outstanding balances. Post payments, apply credits, and maintain up-to-date client records. Communicate billing details clearly and professionally via phone, email, and chat. Assist doctors and office staff in understanding pricing, account statements, and financial policies. Address and resolve billing questions or discrepancies promptly. Escalate overdue accounts with management while maintaining strong client relationships. Occasionally assist Customer Service by handling inbound calls and providing general support as needed. Qualifications Previous customer service or office experience required (billing experience an asset). Strong communication and phone etiquette skills. Positive, professional attitude with a focus on client service. Basic proficiency with computers and office software (Excel, email, data entry).
