Medical Billing Specialist Respiratory Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Associates, Inc. - 2.9 Jacksonville, FL Job Details Full-time $18 - $21 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Accounts receivable Accounts receivable management Analysis skills Medical billing EMR systems Medical terminology Time management Full Job Description Medical Billing Specialist/ A/R Job Summary Handle day-to-day billings, maintain and grow payer relationships, and ensure optimal billing process for Pulmonology, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine practice Must be self-motivated with superb time management skills Must be organized and detail-oriented Responsibilities Include Collaborate with patients, 3rd party institutions, & team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors Troubleshoot issues encountered in the collection process to reduce turnaround time on claim payments Review EOBs, spreadsheets, and postings Reconcile denied insurance claims Navigating webportal to investigate denials and/or eligibility for patients plans Experience and Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing/ AR Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills required Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment Allscripts preferred but not required Drug free work place Benefits Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, PTO plus holidays Benefit Conditions Only full-time employees are eligible 90 day waiting period applies for benefits
