Saint Alphonsus Health System is looking for an energetic and organized Patient Registration Supervisor to join the team at the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID! As a Patient Registration Supervisor, you will maintain & demonstrate knowledge in all functional areas of registration in the hospital including outpatient registration points, ED, general admissions, bed assignments and financial counseling. You will regularly monitor the patient tracking system, registration reports, and financial clearance activities ensuring that all patient registrations meet key performance standards. The supervisor is also responsible for monitoring prompt and accurate financial clearance activities. You will help to manage and dissolve patient/family/staff concerns and resolve questions regarding payment/billing/insurance.
POSITION DETAILS
This Full-Time position will work Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM (or similar). This position requires every other weekend "on-call" duty. The supervisor will support all team members in Boise Registration including Emergency Department, Outpatient, Lab, Day Surgery, Main Desk, etc. The Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is located at 1055 N Curtis Rd, Boise, ID 83706.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) to three (3) years' experience working in a Pre-service or Patient Access operations with supervisory or lead responsibilities. Obtain National certification in
HFMA CRCR, NAHAM CHAA
& / or
NAHAM CHAM
required within one (1) year of hire.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICAIONS
(PREFERRED) Associate degree Patient accounting experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage day-to-day activities and provide leadership and guidance to team members. Work closely with managers to implement departmental plans, priorities, and performance standards. Contribute to performance reviews and may assist in hiring and selection processes. Respond promptly to meet or exceed customer needs and service expectations. Coordinate staff scheduling, approve time/payroll/expenses, and ensure efficient resource utilization. Share goals, standards, and expectations clearly; foster trust and address conflicts proactively. Encourage teamwork, flexibility, and professional conduct while maintaining compliance with laws and policies. Commit to continuous self-development, support team development, and uphold ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
