Billing Clerk

Job description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner in accordance. Email daily invoices while ensuring all necessary backup documentation is indexed correctly. Validate supporting documents related to billing, such as Purchase Orders (POs), Bills of Lading (BOLs), scale tickets, and freight paperwork. Manage rejected invoices from customers and address discrepancies via email. Maintain accurate and organized billing records to support accounting and reporting requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues efficiently. Help with Driver settlements.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 years of Transportation billing experience . Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook . Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to maintain a positive and motivated attitude in a fast-paced work environment. Transportation experience is a plus. Adaptability to changing processes and priorities.
