Job description Reading and understanding EOB's Submitting insurance claims Process and post insurance payments Working/researching rejection and denials from insurance companies Process and mail monthly patient statements Process and post patient payments Bill patients and answer patients questions regarding their statement Basic working knowledge of personal computers and their associate user software is required. Experience with Microsoft Office products Word and Excel is preferred. Demonstrates excellent communication skills, including telephone etiquette, and keyboarding and basic math skills Skills/Qualifications Previous billing experience preferred but not required.
