• Waukegan, IL About the role Dependable Fire Equipment is looking for an entry‑level Billing Specialist to join our office team. You'll help with invoices, basic data entry, and organizing paperwork for our fire protection services. We will train you on our systems and the industry

What you'll do Enter job and customer information into our billing system Help prepare and send invoices for completed work Call and email customers and vendors to confirm dates and collect paperwork Keep digital and paper records organized and up to date Assist with simple follow‑ups on unpaid invoices Support coordinators and accounting with general office tasks (scanning, filing, reports) What we're looking for High school diploma or equivalent Previous office or administrative experience (receptionist, office assistant, data entry, etc.) Comfortable with computers, email, and Microsoft Excel/Word Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional, friendly communication on the phone and by email Reliable, on time, and willing to learn Schedule and pay Full‑time, Monday-Friday, daytime office hours Hourly pay based on experience Training provided, with performance review after the 90‑day introductory period How to apply Apply on Indeed with your resume or a brief description of your office experience, computer skills, and why you're interested in this role at Dependable Fire Equipment.
