Summary Comprehensive Correctional Care, KY, is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Billing Clerk. This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applicant must have computer skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks. Necessary to have knowledge and experience in general office procedures and equipment. Must be able to interact with the public in a professional manner and have strong customer service skills that include answering phones and assisting the public. Responsibilities Process billing information accurately and efficiently for medical services provided. Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly. Utilize financial software to track revenue cycle management activities. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper coding and billing practices are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and payments. Assist in the negotiation of payment terms with clients as necessary. Maintain organized records of all billing transactions for auditing purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in billing or accounts management, preferably within the healthcare sector. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for account analysis and discrepancy resolution. Familiarity with medical coding practices is beneficial but not required. Ability to negotiate payment terms effectively when necessary.
