Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed auto service estimates using auto estimating tools, ensuring transparency and accuracy Write clear, comprehensive service orders that communicate repair requirements to technicians effectively Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Manage billing processes accurately, handle cash transactions securely, and process payments efficiently Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs while maintaining integrity and trust Maintain organized records of service histories, invoices, and customer interactions for future reference Qualifications Proven experience in dealership or automotive service management is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle maintenance procedures Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, brake systems, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair techniques Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Previous experience in auto sales or upselling is a plus Dealership experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; a passion for automotive repair and excellent mechanical aptitude are essential This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their career in the automotive industry while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
