Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Medicare/Medicaid Billing Specialist to manage billing processes, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare billing and accounts receivable, with expertise in relevant software and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage Medicare and Medicaid claims efficiently. Handle accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Utilize PointClickCare for billing and documentation management. Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel. Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving billing discrepancies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines. Provide support and training to staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing. Proficiency in PointClickCare, QuickBooks, and Excel is required. Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a healthcare environment. Familiarity with other billing software and tools.
