Salary Range :
$30/HR + Commensurate (dependent on experience, education, and qualifications)
Profit-Sharing Bonus :
Semi-annual, performance-based (10% to 20% of salary)

Your Role:
Billing Specialist II As the Billing Specialist II you will report to the Controller and be responsible for managing the financial lifecycle of assigned projects, including project setup, billing execution, and project closeout. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong time management skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
What You'll Do:
Optimize and streamline billing and financial processes to support the timely and accurate completion of projects. Prepare, review, and finalize draft invoices for Project Manager approval; distribute approved invoices to clients in accordance with contractual terms. Review accounts receivable (AR) aging reports on a weekly basis to identify discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and coordinate corrective actions with clients and internal stakeholders for both lump-sum milestone and time-and-expense (T&E) billings. Proactively manage client communications to resolve past-due balances and support timely collections. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date billing records to ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and internal control requirements. Support steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and issuing invoices accurately and on schedule for assigned clients. Ensure all client invoices comply with contractual billing terms, agreed-upon rates, and project-specific requirements; verify that project reports are current, clear, and consistent with billing data. Run weekly reports for manual holds if applicable after weekly timesheet postings Conduct detailed analyses of unbilled labor and project expenses to ensure timely and complete billing. Monitor and assess project budgets to identify variances and support financial controls. Prepare and deliver timely financial reports, budget updates, and billing summaries to Project Managers and clients. Update contracts and billing documentation in accordance with client requirements and communicate associated budget amendments and changes. Provide ongoing billing, reporting, and documentation support to clients and Project Managers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
What You Bring:
Education :
High School Diploma / GED ; Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience :
• 3+ years of relevant experience in detailed contract analysis and billing Experience working in a professional accounting setting with multiple project managers, preferably in Project Accounting or the service industry Microsoft Excel proficiency Office 365 experience Strong analytical skills•Ability to work on a team and independently.
