Billing Specialist — CMC (New Orleans Office)

Pay Range:
$28.00-$33.00/hr

Position Overview CMC is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join their New Orleans office. This is a full‑time, in‑office role supporting the mechanical and HVAC divisions. The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of billing experience , preferably within the HVAC or mechanical contracting industry , and familiarity with COINS ERP or similar construction/mechanical ERP systems. This role is essential to keeping projects, service work, and financial operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Prepare, process, and submit accurate invoices for service, construction, and mechanical projects Perform data entry , billing adjustments, and job cost updates Work with purchase orders (P.O.s) as needed Collaborate with project managers, service managers, and the general manager to ensure billing accuracy Maintain organized billing records, documentation, and digital files Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly Support month‑end closing activities Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers Required Qualifications 4-5 years of billing, accounting, or administrative experience Experience in the HVAC, mechanical, construction, or skilled trades industry Familiarity with
COINS ERP
