If you know ICD, CPT, claims, and reimbursements—and love turning complex data into clean, accurate billing—this role is built for you. What's Required High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare or business is a plus. Experience in medical billing, collections, or insurance follow-up is strongly preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accurac y. Research and resolve claim issues by communicating with insurance companies and documenting outcomes in internal systems. Assist with corrections, resubmissions, or appeals as needed to help secure payment. Identify trends in denials or slow payments and escalate to the billing team or management. Maintain organized records of all follow-up actions and communication s. Collaborate with billing and administrative staff to ensure smooth processing of claims.
