We are looking for an independent, energetic, and motivated Behavioral Health biller. As a biller, you would help keep our program running efficiently by reviewing/submitting claims, and following claims for your assigned clinicians, supporting admin staff with managing referrals, scheduling, and overseeing processes supporting our high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities Billing - submit and follow through with Insurance claims. Connecting with clients via calls/texts re: insurance and billing matters. Check insurance benefits for clients. Review and enter insurance payments/managing billing excels. Assist with chart reviews and notifying staff of outstanding documents Support admin team with incoming calls and forward calls as appropriate. Support admin team with triaging initial client referrals. Provide additional support needed by the clinical team and management. Requirements Mental health training background preferred 1-2 years of billing experience in an office setting preferred Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication You take initiative and are comfortable working independently.
