Job Description

Overview Red Coats, Inc is seeking a Billing Assistant to assist the Billing team with processing daily customer changes, enter contract maintenance, and account for billing adjustments. This role will also handle incoming calls and monitor the Fresh Desk portal for customer requests as needed.
Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Assist with the billing team members with the billing process on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for up to 400 unique customers Field incoming calls from customers Perform various A/R functions such as processing customer invoices and researching customer requests Upload invoices to various customer sites Respond to customer requests through the Fresh Desk portal and forward requests to billing team members as needed Research and process customer requests to include but not limited to invoice updates and revisions Process credit/debit memos and void/reissues Receive and respond to customer emails in timely manner Special projects as needed
Qualifications Qualifications:
1+ years' experience in Accounts Receivables/Billing experience or education equivalency Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment with strict deadlines Must be goal and task oriented with excellent organizational skills Must be able to work independently Strong oral and written communication with excellent customer service skills
