Accounting/Billing Specialist Position Summary:
Accounting/Billing Specialists are responsible for various accounts receivable tasks, including creating invoices, data entry, and applying payments. They work primarily independently, but collaborate with other accounting personnel, attorneys, and management as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, accurate work.
Accounting/Billing Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue accurate invoices. Review contracts and service agreements to confirm billing terms. Research and resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain accurate client and billing records. Perform data entry and apply payments to client accounts. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Required Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred. 1-3 years of accounts receivable, invoice processing, or billing experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
