Opportunity:
The Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Operations Analyst is responsible for analysis of timekeeping for caregivers and processing payable and billable hours in our EMR system. The EVV Operations Analyst plays an integral part in the billing operations, ensuring both accurate and timely processing of paper and electronic timekeeping records. This role also supports caregiver employees throughout the transition from paper to electronic systems. The EVV Operations Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and verifying caregiver punches, troubleshooting punch errors, ensuring compliance with service authorizations and eligibility, training employees, and communication with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, willing to learn, and able to contribute to process improvements through periods of change and continuous improvement. This position reports to the Operations Manager. For this role
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Learn the current paper timecard process thoroughly to help the team transition smoothly to the EVV system.
  • Work with caregivers to identify and correct punch errors.
  • Maintain organized records of all processed timecards and demonstrate strong data management.
  • Ensure Caregiver schedule inputs are correctly aligned with Client Authorizations and Eligibility for services.
  • Approve assigned caregiver punches submitted through EVV app.
  • Confirm and approve that caregiver punches are geolocated to client's homes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in EVV systems.
  • Provide continuous support and training to new and existing caregivers with all things EVV.
  • Generate and review reports to monitor compliance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, and other team members to resolve issues and provide guidance.
  • Train caregivers to use EVV system correctly.
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, DOL, and federal, state, and municipal requirements for programs and services provided through the company.
  • Seek self-improvement and personal growth opportunities to expand skillset role in the company.
  • Ensure timely completion of required training and operational processes (e.g., expense submissions, etc.) What makes you a great fit:
  • High school diploma and three years of relevant work experience. Two-year degree can substitute for work experience. Degree highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Prior industry knowledge of billing, payroll, DHS compliance, and a basic understanding of home and community-based services highly preferred.
  • Professional business-level verbal and written proficiency of English are required and the ability to speak conversational level Hmong highly preferred.
  • Critical thinking with the ability to solve problems and perform root cause analysis.
  • Good written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely organized; ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy in a highly repetitive, high-volume work product.
  • Pass Department of Human Services background check.
