In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, accounts receivable, and financial data entry. Your expertise will support our commitment to maintaining impeccable financial records and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your skills in financial software, accounting principles, and data management will make a meaningful impact. Duties Prepare, review, and send accurate invoices using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage. Manage accounts receivable by tracking payments, following up on overdue accounts, and reconciling customer accounts regularly. Perform detailed account reconciliation including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting to ensure financial accuracy. Process payroll data using systems like ADP, UltiPro, Kronos or Paychex while maintaining compliance with payroll management standards. Support corporate and governmental accounting functions by adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements. Conduct data entry with high precision, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the financial software systems. Assist with month-end closing activities such as journal entries, account analysis, and financial reporting to support audit readiness. Experience Proven experience in billing, accounts payable/receivable, or related financial roles within a corporate or governmental setting. Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or Ceridian is highly desirable. Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience working with payroll management systems like ADP or UltiPro is preferred. Knowledge of SOX compliance standards and government or non-profit accounting practices is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed data entry and account analysis with accuracy and efficiency. Excellent understanding of financial software tools and technical accounting procedures to support accurate bookkeeping and reporting.
