Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payment Posting Specialist to join our healthcare revenue cycle team. This role is responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, resolving payment discrepancies, and supporting efficient billing operations.

Responsibilities :

Post insurance and patient payments including EOBs, ERAs, checks, and credit card transactions Apply payments accurately to patient accounts Identify and resolve denials, short pays, overpayments, and payment discrepancies Reconcile daily payment batches Process refunds and adjustments according to guidelines Maintain accurate payment records while ensuring HIPAA compliance Collaborate with billing and collections teams to resolve account issues Support audits and documentation requests

Qualifications :

1-3 years of medical or dental payment posting experience Experience with healthcare billing workflows and revenue cycle operations Knowledge of EOBs, ERAs, and payment reconciliation Experience with Epic or similar EHR/billing systems preferred Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
