Automotive Billing Clerk

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Billing Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in the sales & accounting process. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task, a willingness to learn and excellent customer skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in many different ways. You'll work closely with various departments and learn all aspects of the dealership accounting cycle. Duties Post new / used sales deals, KBB purchases, used car purchases ensuring accuracy in paperwork and posting Processing product sales and remitting to the warranty companies Processing & Maintaining Product Cancellations Prepare journal entries for adjustments and corrections Manage assigned schedules Cross Training with AR/AP Monthly Dealer Reserve Statements Month End Closing Duties Qualifications CDK Experience is a PLUS Dealership Experience is a Requirement Strong knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and technical accounting standards. Ability to perform data entry at a high volume with 10 key typing proficiency Attention to detail is essential Excellent analysis skills combined with problem-solving abilities to identify discrepancies and improve processes.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
