Job Description

Patient Revenue Management Organization Pursue your passion for caring with the Patient Revenue Management Organization, which is the fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization that supports the entire health system in streamlining the revenue cycle. This includes scheduling, registration, coding, billing, and other essential revenue functions for Duke Health.
ONSITE POSITION
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (7:00 PM- 7:30 AM) General Description Analyze, organize, and utilize complex data and rules related to the revenue management process.
- Job function is dedicated to analysis, identification of trends, validation, and compliance as related to fiscal activities, generating additional revenue, reducing bad debt expense and charity write-offs, overall expense reduction.
- Troubleshoots; follows through and resolves issues related to the patient revenue cycle; develops and presents recommendations for further consideration by management.
- Position requires minimal clerical duties such as operating general office equipment. Scope of Authority
- Job requires limited supervision of other employees in the unit.
LevelEducation:
College degree preferred or significant years of patient revenue cycle/process experience in lieu of college degree. Additional specialized training relevant to job responsibility.Experience:
5 years experience in a Healthcare or Business setting or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience engaged in analytical and compliance issues. Degrees, Licensure, and/orCertification:
Certification in related field of experience preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
