Billing Specialist Our fast-paced Manchester, NH client is seeking a Billing Specialist for their team. If you have strong communication skills and understanding of billing software, then this full-time, direct-hire role could be a great fit! Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist Prepare invoices for legal services to clients Answer client inquiries on billings Process and post client payments and prepare deposits and reports as requested Process and document over-payments and write-offs Process billing rate changes Create and maintain client files Offer excellent customer service internally to Attorneys and other employees Perform additional tasks and projects as requested Qualifications of the Billing Specialist Associate degree in Finance/Accounting or 3+ years of experience in detailed finance work Strong math skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay financial data to managers and clients Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues Attention to detail Ability to work under tight deadlines Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Understanding of billing software and basic accounting concepts (knowledge of Rippe & Kingston, a/k/a Surepoint billing software is a plus) Previous experience with law firm billing is preferred Please share your resume in confidence for this Billing Specialist opportunity offering $60K-$62K/year, DOE.
