The ideal candidate will be responsible for denial follow-up and ensuring compliance with payer guidelines. This role requires strong knowledge of insurance billing processes and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Review and resolve claim rejections and denials.
- Perform timely filing follow-ups and appeals.
- Post payments and reconcile accounts.
- Communicate with insurance payers regarding claim status.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Maintain compliance with payer billing guidelines. Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid billing.
- Experience with EOB review and denial management.
- Familiarity with clearinghouses.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lab billing.
- Knowledge of appeals process and prior authorization.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
