00 per hour Medical Billing Specialist Opportunity A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to support its Revenue Cycle team. This role is focused on commercial insurance billing , including payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, appeals, and EOB review. Responsibilities Process electronic insurance payment posting Perform accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up with commercial insurance carriers Review and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advice Prepare and submit insurance appeals Follow up on outstanding claims and reimbursement issues Maintain accurate account documentation and billing records Work aging reports and assist in reducing outstanding A/R balances Qualifications Experience with medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle operations Knowledge of commercial insurance claims, payment posting, A/R follow-up, denials, and appeals Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Benefits Competitive pay: $22.00
