Duties Perform routine reconciliation of customer accounts, ensuring proper allocation of incoming payments, credits, and related transaction activity. Investigate and resolve account variances such as unapplied balances, short payments, open credits, and aged discrepancies. Review transactional history and supporting documentation to identify root causes of account imbalances and irregularities. Match and validate invoices, adjustments, and related financial activity to ensure alignment across account records. Collaborate with internal teams to research issues, confirm transaction details, and support resolution of outstanding items. Maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting logs documenting findings, actions taken, and resolution outcomes. Support month-end close activities and assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed. Requirements Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline preferred, with relevant experience in finance or accounting operations. Background in AR, reconciliation, or similar transactional accounting functions involving payment processing and account balancing activities. Exposure to resolving account variances, researching discrepancies, and supporting corrective account adjustments. Comfortable working with financial systems/ERP platforms and handling high-volume transactional data. Proficient in Excel for basic data manipulation, reporting support, and account analysis. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and support root-cause analysis. Able to work cross-functionally with internal teams to support issue resolution and maintain accurate records. Capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
