Job Description
Position Overview:
Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our Albuquerque team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while supporting overall administrative operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and organize invoice batches for daily data entry Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring proper coding of payment documents Generate and manage billing and credit transactions within the accounts payable/receivable system Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies, questions, or requests Perform invoice entry and other data entry tasks as needed Identify and communicate issues or discrepancies in a timely manner Provide administrative support to management as needed Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping (preferred but not required) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe PURPOSE- Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
