Job Description
Southtowns dental office is currently seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist with Dental experience. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing patient billing, dental insurance claims, and posting of all payments accurately and in a timely manner. The duties include, but not limited to:
- Submit and process insurance claims in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the paper/document flow related to billing and patient accounts under the
- Monitor and reconciliation of all third-party insurance remittances and cash collections.
- Prepare necessary written documentation, maintain/analyze records, prepare reports
- Perform functions related to
Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Collections Qualifications:
- Experience in dental billing.
- Familiarity with dental coding, insurance guidelines, billing processes
- Proficiency in Dental coding, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding organizational, communication (verbal and written), and facilitation skills.
Physical Demands:
- Requires periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
Salary Range:
$18.25/hr.- $21.
