Job Description

Medical Payment Poster (3+ Years Experience Required) We are seeking an experienced Medical Payment Poster to join our healthcare billing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and payment posting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Lytec experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Post insurance and patient payments accurately and timely. Reconcile electronic remittance advices (ERAs) and explanation of benefits (EOBs).Process adjustments, refunds, and recoupments as needed. Balance daily deposits and maintain payment posting accuracy. Work closely with billing and accounts receivable staff to resolve outstanding issues .Ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements. Maintain productivity and quality standards. Coordinate with account receivable unit and billing department in regard to payment and discrepancies resolve outstanding issues
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of medical payment posting experience required.

Strong understanding of EOBs, ERAs, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payments. Experience with medical billing software and practice management systems.

Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and healthcare reimbursement processes preferred. Excellent data entry, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare billing certifications are a plus.
