What You'll Be Doing Own and manage insurance and patient AR Aggressively follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims Identify trends in denials and solve root issues Submit corrected claims and appeals with urgency Work closely with front desk and clinical teams to fix problems at the source Ensure accurate, timely payment posting What We're Looking For 1-3+ years in medical billing / AR follow-up Strong understanding of EOBs, claims, and reimbursement Someone who doesn't wait— you take initiative and follow things through Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts Comfortable holding others accountable when needed Bonus Points If You Have Outpatient physical therapy or rehab billing experience Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and workers' comp A mindset of "how do we fix this so it doesn't happen again?"
