Responsibilities Accurately code medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 coding systems. Process medical billing for patient accounts, ensuring timely submission of claims. Manage medical collections and follow up on outstanding accounts. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure correct coding practices are followed. Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding standards. Requirements Proven experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in an ophthalmology setting. Strong knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG, and medical terminology. Familiarity with medical office systems and electronic health records (EHR). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
