The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding, with a thorough understanding of dental terminology and coding systems. This role is essential for ensuring accurate billing processes, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Process and review medical billing claims for accuracy and completeness. Dentrix experience is a plus. Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for billing purposes. Conduct medical collections by following up on outstanding accounts and resolving discrepancies. Maintain detailed records of billing transactions and patient accounts within the medical office systems. Stay updated on changes in billing practices to ensure compliance. Assist in training new staff members on billing procedures. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or related field is required. Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare regulations. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to interact with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
