Medical Billing Specialist

Medical Billing Specialist- Full-Time We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in our billing processes, managing claims, and support our patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and submit claims to insurance companies. Appeal denied or rejected claims in a timely manner. Answer patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance coverage, and outstanding balances. Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments. Post payments from insurance carriers and patients. Follow-up on accounts receivable and outstanding patient balances. Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records. Collaborate with provider's, MA's, and front-desk staff to ensure proper coding and documentation.

Qualifications:

Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is preferred. Experience as a Medical Biller. Experience with Prior Authorizations. ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines. Medical Terminology. Proficiency with EMR. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and organization. Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
