This role works closely with attorneys, billing teams, clients, and accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing while providing excellent customer service. ResponsibilitiesE-Billing Operations Assist with client onboarding, matter setup, billing system maintenance, and rate updates. Submit electronic invoices through various e-billing platforms. Troubleshoot e-billing issues and coordinate resolutions. Maintain billing codes, timekeeper information, and client billing requirements. Process appeals, accruals, budgets, and invoice resubmissions. Prepare invoices for submission and monitor invoice status. Generate reports and provide billing documentation as needed. Track and follow up on rejected, reduced, or unsubmitted invoices. Client & Attorney Support Coordinate special billing requests and alternative fee arrangements. Respond to billing-related inquiries from clients and attorneys. Assist with billing analysis and reporting projects. Research billing discrepancies and support collections efforts. Maintain client and matter information within billing systems. Collaborate with accounting, compliance, conflicts, and collections teams to ensure billing accuracy. Qualifications 3-5 years of billing or e-billing experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Experience with electronic billing platforms and billing software. Knowledge of accounting and billing processes. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel proficiency. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Experience with legal billing systems and e-billing hubs is preferred.
