- Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government contract requirements.
- Develop and maintain provider contracts on a national scale.
- Coordinate specialty exam visits for applicants, providing seamless support.
- Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to ensure compliance with contract standards.
- Identify and document exam errors, generating necessary follow-up communications such as Incomplete Letters.
- Act as a liaison between applicants, provider offices, internal teams, and government officials to resolve issues efficiently.
- Address escalations from provider offices related to specialty exam visits.
- Utilize data analysis to monitor and improve billing processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals. Requirements The ideal Medical Billing Specialist will have:
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience, with a college degree or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of billing functions, claims administration, and federal government contracts.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and Adobe software.
- Familiarity with EHR systems, Allscripts, and Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and documentation.
