Description Robert Half is looking for a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join a team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.   • Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government contract requirements.
  • Develop and maintain provider contracts on a national scale.
  • Coordinate specialty exam visits for applicants, providing seamless support.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to ensure compliance with contract standards.
  • Identify and document exam errors, generating necessary follow-up communications such as Incomplete Letters.
  • Act as a liaison between applicants, provider offices, internal teams, and government officials to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Address escalations from provider offices related to specialty exam visits.
  • Utilize data analysis to monitor and improve billing processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals. Requirements The ideal Medical Billing Specialist will have:
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, with a college degree or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of billing functions, claims administration, and federal government contracts.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and Adobe software.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, Allscripts, and Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and documentation.
