We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is responsible for accurate billing, claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement from insurance carriers and patients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of medical billing processes, payer rules, and HIPAA compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and submit medical claims to commercial insurance, Medicare, and MedicaidVerify patient insurance eligibility and benefitsPost payments, adjustments, and denials accuratelyFollow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepanciesReview Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracyCommunicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams regarding billing questionsMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulationsEnsure billing practices align with payer guidelines and company policies
