NOVA Computer Solutions is a small, vertical-focused, comprehensive MSP, trusted to provide technology support for dental practices throughout Northern Virginia, Metro Washington DC, and Maryland. We pride ourselves on accuracy, accountability, and long-term partnerships with our clients and are looking to hire a Billing & Accounting Specialist to help support and improve our financial processes. The purpose of the Billing & Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) is to support accurate and timely billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions while helping maintain clean, organized financial operations. This role works closely with leadership, vendors, and internal teams to ensure billing aligns with services delivered and contracts in place. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, and follow established processes. Prepare, review, and issue client invoices Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable Ensure billing aligns with contracts, agreements, and services delivered Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies Assist with vendor reconciliation and cost tracking Maintain accurate financial and billing documentation Support month-end billing and reporting activities Coordinate with operations and leadership on billing-related matters Required Skills At least 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, bookkeeping, or AP/AR Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong understanding of accounting principles Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Ability to follow established processes while identifying improvements Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Experience with QuickBooks Preferred Skills Experience with recurring or contract-based billing for IT services Experience in a professional services environment Strong Excel skills Organizational and time management skills Interest in growing into a senior financial or leadership role Experience working with vendors and reconciling invoices Experience with ConnectWise Schedule 8-hour shift (8:00am - 5:00pm) Monday toFriday Job Type:
