Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for managing the full billing cycle within a fast-paced legal environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm and client guidelines. The Billing Coordinator will collaborate closely with attorneys, staff, and clients to resolve billing issues and support financial operations. Prepare, review, and edit client invoices in accordance with firm policies and client guidelines Manage e-billing processes and ensure timely submission of electronic invoices Verify accuracy of billing data, including time entries and expenses Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries Process write-offs and handle complex billing scenarios (e.g., split billing, discounts) Assist with monthly and quarterly billing reports and maintain organized billing recordsQUALIFICATIONS
3+ years experience with legal billing processes in a law firm environment Proficiency with billing/accounting software (e.g., Elite 3E, Aderant, or similar) Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume workloads Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and proactively manage prioritiesCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
